Slim Jim cod fishleather card wallet with black goat interior
Slim Jim bifold leather card wallet with outer skin of Cod fishleather and black interior. The outer material is natural colour Cod fishleather that gives a greenish/turkish coloured leather after tanning. The fishleather is made from Cod caught in Iceland and the inner material is black hand stained goat leather. The wallet is Hand stitched with black strong Riza thread and the edges coloured and sealed with black edge coat. This Credit card wallet has 4 inside pockets that hold 6 - 8 cards.
The inner material of the Cod leather card wallet comes as base in dark brown and black, but can be custom stained to almost any colour. The wallets are ultra thin and compact in size measuring only 10 cm x 7 cm by 1 cm (folded). Black and brown are in stock while other colours have to be ordered.
Given the nature of these wallets, the Cod fish leather as the outer material has variation and is not accurately as the image shows. If you want to select a special outer version contact us for pictures of stock material. Inner material will also have variations given the hand made process of colour staining natural hide. Scars and blemishes may (should) occur and is what gives each wallet its special character. No two wallets are the same in look and feel.
Due to closedown off Atlantic leather in Iceland availability of fishleather is very limited. Back ordering has therefor been closed down. Please contact us in order to find out what type of fishleather we have in stock.
All our wallets are made by Good Old Company and are handmade and hand stitched in Kopavogur, Iceland and ship from Iceland.
Sustainable fashion is a key ingredient in our design philosophy and the fishleather and the leather hides we use are all a bi-product of thee food industry. The fish leather comes from Iceland and is tanned there using green energy. Most of our other hides come from Scandinavia (Sweden, Norway, Denmark ) and other Europe countries, mostly from small local tanneries which fit our policy of ecological philosophy of sustainable living and respect for nature and environment.
